And for those who say that they "earned" this mount just stop come on like, Imagine if they removed Ashes of Al'ar and you were farming for it, but then the next day its gone for no good reason and its replaced by a gryphon..
How would you feel about that? Bad i'm assuming because you put all that time and effort into obtaining that one mount. Also if you got this mount to show off and have people whispering to you asking where you go it and saying that its gone and that its never coming back, is total BS. Compare this model to the new current model.
What do you see? I see a piece of trash to be honest. This one has so much detail and actually looks like a product that blizzard put some time and work into, but then they decided to replace it with a plain black cat that really is unimpressive and you can put it next to a black garbage bag and you would find some resemblance, thats how bad it is. So why cant we have this back?
Is it because some people have specific mount and they think that we shouldn't have them because they'll be special by crushing someones hope and making themselves feel superior about it?
Why not have a throw back week? I mean come on who wouldn't like to go back and see Vanilla dungeons one last time? Who wouldn't want to attempt to obtain the Ashbringer? Yes these things are rare and removed but everyone who didn't have a chance should be given one.
I know this mount and many other deleted things are now obtainable from the BMAH, but look at the prices We're talking roughly 1million gold for this tiger. Yes you can obtain it for a cheaper price from a container but you will usually fail at getting it from there. Plus who has the time to farm all day and night for gold?
Average players can barely make k. Those who have a good AH reputation can easily make k on average. But usually most of us are under the k zone, making it almost impossible to get.
Now like i said we should have a throwback week, It could be like that lvl Molten Core that we had going on but this time the old content will be available to play, of course at a lvl scale. We should have a specific boss or mob that drops a few items that have been removed, but the drop rate wouldn't go up or down.
Maybe throw in some new gear pieces like that lvl crown from Ragnaros that was only available for a certain amount of time. Why not make something like that? Im sure it would be fun, because not only are you given a chance to obtain these items but you get to do something that you haven't experienced before. In my opinion and I've heard many players say the same thing in Trade Chat and in Vent the new mount is OK; but it's kinda bland and. It's worth getting if you want more mounts; but aesthetically it's nothing to write home about. The very few people who disagree and say "the new one looks cooler", they may want to look up the story of The Fox and The Grapes. It's easy to put something down just because it makes you feel better, because you know you can never have it.
And though we know we will never own one, we admire it's beauty. Personally , I would rather that Blizz completely redesigned the mount to be as cool and unique as the original, but completely different.
OR I would rather they decreased the drop rate of the old model and made it more rare harder to get. Granted the drop rate was already insanely low; but it was so cool that it made trying worth it. My nephew and I used to run the old raid all the time unfortunately it never dropped. But when looking at the new version, I just don't feel motivated to try. The colors on new model are just so bland.
I own it and ride it, but whenever I'm on it it seems someone inevitable comes along on the old model, and it makes mine feel cheap - because the original was just so cool and vibrant red! I thought I would never get it but in mop I found out that it could be sold on the bmah, I was so happy until I realized that I was horrible at making gold and could never afford it. I have never seen it on the bmah as an item. Last night I decided that I was going to bid on a container. It was a last minute bid between me and some other guy and I decided to bid on it one last time at 60k and go to bed.
I woke up this morning and the container was in my mailbox. I wrote my guild that I was opening it and as soon as I did, I almost had a heart attack I was so hyper and shaky. By far the best experience I've ever had in this game and to anyone still wanting this mount, it's still out there. I think that since it's very rare What is it,. Why should the people who haven't ponied up the gold for the mount get rewarded for it?

Many of us in the guild have been around farming ZG, learning the fights from Veno up. He had worked his tail off for this mount and everyone was givin a chance at it. Fortunatly I was the first to get this mount from my guild with a winning roll of 97 on my first 20 man raid. My view towards arguements from Noobs saying "I dont have a epic mount it should mine" is as follows. This mount would no day in hell drop for you without the help of the 19 other members in your raid to kill the boss or clear the zone. Any drop which is considered unique and can used by any class has the right to roll for this mount because of it is rare.
If a player with a winning roll decides to either A: Sell to a fellow Raider before looting or B: Keep it for himself its the winning rollers choice. Yes I got mine based on luck or fate, but the point being is stop being greedy and stop whining and just try your luck to earn this mount, thats right earned because people never get anything for free without giving a little.
